George at Asda Wishlist

Now I know some fellow bloggers are not a fan of supermarket clothing. It's always seen as unfashionable or fuddy-duddy but I've found so many good items over the years in Asda. They're great for basic items, such as vests and underwear, but now they've produced some more stylish pieces. Here's a couple of outfits I've picked out that would look really cute.

asda outfits

The first outfit I think would look great on a night out (not that I even drink anymore) or for a meal with family or friends. The sheer blouse is perfect for not having too much skin on show and paired with an on-trend tribal-print skirt, it makes it look less drab and more fab! Simple black heels or ankle boots would look great with this.

The second outfit would be perfect for a shopping day or date night. The skirt can be dressed up or down but by adding the sheer tartan sweater, it makes the look more casual. As you know, I love tartan and this is just a different way of wearing it! Black loafers or smoking slippers would be great for a daytime look and a bright heel would look amazing for a night-time event.

The final look is a more casual look, again for a shopping day or just a casual lunch. Pastels are so in this season and this pink jumper is so cute. Normally I hate wearing pink but this is a nice shade; hopefully it wouldn't wash me out being so pale and all! These trousers are so on-trend too; monochrome is a trend I always love. This jumper would look great with jeans but by pairing it with trousers, it makes it look a lot smarter.

asda other items

Here are my other picks from the website that caught my eye! I love blazers (I've got 3 already) but all of them are structured; these two are more relaxed. The stripey blazer would go great with bright skinnies and the knitted blazer would look amazing over a smart dress. I'm a huge fan of this floral camisole top which is unusual for me because I hate anything floral. I like this because it's dark and more subtle and would go with all of my black skirts! Both dresses are nothing like my usually style. Both the blue and black tie-dye dress and the dark blue dress with sheer inserts would look amazing with a pair of simple black heels. I'm also in need of a new tartan shirt so I don't have to steal my boyfriend's and this red tartan shirt would be great with a pair of skinny jeans and pumps. The geo jacquard top would also look fab with jeans or with a black skirt or shorts.

I love sneakers; I live in my Converse and Keds but I'm also after a pair of pleather sneakers. Either the black ones or the beige ones would fit my style perfectly. On a final note, this bikini (top and bottoms) also fit in with this season's tribal-print trend and the best thing about this bikini? It only costs £6 in total!
